Short Bio - Julie Elven

Julie Elven is a soundtrack vocalist, musician and concert soloist based in Munich, Germany.

She specializes in remote recording sessions from her own studio, working with composers and game companies across the globe.

Julie has been a soloist for Hollywood composers James Newton Howard, Lorne Balfe and Andrew Kawczynski, as well as for Hans Zimmer’s scoring company Bleeding Fingers Music. She is a featured solo vocalist on the GRAMMY longlisted and BAFTA winning video game Horizon Forbidden West, as well as the vocalist of the BAFTA nominated Horizon Zero Dawn soundtrack.

She has contributed studio vocals as a soloist to major themes in the Gran Turismo movie (2023), League of Legends, World of Warcraft - Legion, Horizon Forbidden West, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Legend of Vox Machina, BBC Universe, PBS Nova, Hearthstone, Honor of Kings, Star Citizen, Arknights, RuneScape, multiple Blizzard Entertainment projects, Tomb Raider - The Dark Angel album project, and more.

In addition to her studio work, she regularly performs as a concert soloist with orchestras and ensembles internationally, and performed her original vocals from the Horizon Forbidden West soundtrack (Joris de Man - "Promise of the West") at The Game Awards 2021 with Lorne Balfe, Pedro Eustache and The Game Awards Orchestra to a record breaking live stream audience of 85 Million views.

Julie was invited into the Recording Academy as a GRAMMY voting member in 2023.
